    this fast food weight loss trend seemed silly. but maybe there’s something to feeling pleasure and fulfilled rather than deprived. fast food makes me have happy childhood memories and I think positive thinking can affect our health and behavior.

    Great Content. Thought I would just try and see if I can help anyone even further here. Water is a great little weight loss trick.
    Most of the time when we are hungry, we are actually dehydrated. So drinking water when we are hungry usually takes away the hunger pangs ;)

    The diet is all about 3 conditions that
    cause insatiable food cravings and 2 of the
    conditions cause bad water retention.
    Losing water that shouldn’t be retained is
    still good – you can be a clothes size down
    in 5 days and this weight need never
    return. The avg human is 50% water so
    we will always lose both water and fat – we

    Im on the last day of phase 1, and thought id let you know i lost 6 pounds. Im 6’1 and started this diet with a weight of 200lbs. Im now down to 194lbs, and looking to reach my goal of 185lbs. Thanks for this amazing book

    I don’t really believe you can lose so much weight for just five days by eating so much. The foods she mentioned are really good but I have yet to meet someone who has lost so much by eating these foods… I really wish this works in such a short time but……

    This diet works, i just cant belive how easy it is!!, maybe things like eating out can be hard if your in chineese or indian resturant but my goodness i just eat and eat and eat and my weight stays where i want!!!

    i have lost just over 108lbs with weight watchers but i always fancied things and got tempted, altho i have lost the weight it was NO WAY as easy as this diet, i hardly crave anything ever now!!

    Hi there – meat just helps with options. Fish/eggs/veg (not potatoes)/salads/natural live yoghurt and brown rice is still pretty versatile without meat!

    The book will really help answer all these questions – there are almost 400 pages of info on how this diet came about and what happens when you start it (you could feel worse in the first few days and it’s important to understand this and why). 2 of the 3 conditions cause serious water retention, so a lot of this is lost in the 1st few days. But the body is 50% water anyway so you are always going to lose water. A 200lb person doesn’t lose 100lb of fat & turn into a puddle!!

    Hi there – being veggie is not ideal and I speak from experience! I was a proper veggie for 15 yrs and now eat fish, but still not meat. The problem for veggies is 1) that the only 2 zero carb food groups are avoided – meat & fish and 2) that it is really difficult to zap Candida (1 of the 3 conditions that this diet is all about) being veggie. Either get the book or watch all the videos on the 3 conditions to understand the challenge veggies face!

    Hi danyellcobhc – exercise is a great thing to do for general health, but it is of little help with weight loss compared to what you eat. I would save yourself the bother in Phase 1 – not least because you can feel a bit rubbish coming off caffeine, sugar and refined carbs – and then do something you enjoy when you feel up to it. My clients who try to cycle 3-5 hrs a day or run marathons are almost impossible to help! Theirs bodies want carbs all the time!

    Hi Raybee – it’s not Atkins – you are allowed dairy, brown rice and unlimited veg and salad even in the first 5 days. I do like Atkins though – all good diets end up taking you back to meat/fish/veg/salad/fruit/nuts etc and the things we have been eating since we first walked the earth!
    It was also designed to be the perfect diet to overcome the 3 conditions that cause food cravings so it is quite unique in having identified these and having a diet that overcomes them
